KLI Sunday’s Rewind…Raise It Up

Isaiah 59:21 "As for me, this is my covenant with them," says the LORD. "My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants-from this time on and forever," says the LORD… Isaiah 60:1-2 “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.  See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. You have God’s covenant promise of His Spirit UP ON you, and His Word IN you. The Covenant is significant because God makes the covenant and He is the keeper of the covenant. Once the covenant is made, there is nothing you can do to break it. It doesn’t matter what your level of performance is, the covenant is still intact, which is My Spirit is up on you and My Word is in you! God is working externally with His Spirit on you and internally with His Word in you.

It does not matter what is going on in or around your life, rest assured God has something on you and in you. Therefore, He commands us to arise! The enemy works stuff around you to get you afraid and operating in a spirit of fear. God has insulated you by what He put on you and what He has in you. Your eyes are focused on the trouble around you (thinking since it is around you, it will eventually get you), not realizing what God has ON you and IN you.

You have been commanded to arise. Arise presupposes you have fallen and succumbed to what’s around you…some of you are worried about things that’s around you, bills on the table, family issues, health issues and because you have challenges, the challenges appear to knock you down and knock you out. Your focus must be on what’s ON you and what’s IN you!

ARISE--means to become erect, not waivering in fear or worry. Arise and Shine. Shine is an indication that somewhere there is light. You are not just standing up for standing up sake, because of what’s on you and what’s in you, rising is the first part of what He really wants you to do, which is shine. No believer can shine on the ground, no believer can shine when worry and fear has overtaken the mind. Arise and Shine! How? For your Light has come. The translation of the word light gives us words such as photo, photon, and biophoton. A biophoton is a light receptacle that absorbs light. At the cellular level, biophotons can repair damaged cells based on the amount of light it is exposed to. The damaged cell not only can repair itself because of exposure to light, but it can also influence other damaged cells. So, if I get a sickness or a disease happening in my body, rather than relying on medicine alone, I need to get light into my body. “At the entrance of Thy word, bringeth light” (Psalm 119:130). The word brings light! When light is present, living things absorb and reflect it.

I encourage you today to Arise and Shine! For your Light has come! In other words, the light of God’s Word comes to you and as you absorb it, you begin to reflect it. While it may be dark around you, do not fear, but know He chose you, and therefore there is something different on you and in you! Whatever is going wrong in your life, expose to the light, raise it up and SHINE!
